    Getting started

The following page shows how to get started and what agreements and credentials you might need before integrating Netaxept payment solutions.

What you need before you start:

    1. Netaxept product agreement
    2. Acquiring agreement for card payments
    3. Netaxept Credentials to go live
    4. Netaxept admin account
    5. Netaxept Test Credentials to test your integration

    1. Netaxept product agreement

If you don’t have a product agreement with Netaxept, you need to contact our sales department in order to get one. After you submitted your Netaxept product agreement form, we will review it and get back to you with your Netaxept Live Credentials.

You can start testing your integration with your Netaxept Test Credentials right away. But you won't be able to go live without your Netaxept Credentials for the live environment.

    2. Acquiring agreement for card payments

In order to accept card payments, you need to sign an acquiring agreement with your chosen acquirer.

Netaxept has connections to several acquirers, for example Nets, Swedbank, Handelsbanken, Elavon, Dankort and American Express. Please contact sales if you need assistance choosing the right acquirer for your business.

Our Netaxept onboarding team will wait for your acquirer to approve the agreement and configure your Netaxept account accordingly. The acquiring agreement needs to be in place before you go live with your Netaxept implementation if you wish to accept card payments online.

    3. Netaxept Credentials

In your Netaxept product agreement you have defined a contact person. The contact person will receive the Netaxept Credentials.

    The Netaxept Credentials consist of:

    1. Your Merchant ID
    2. Your Netaxept admin portal password
    3. Your API token

    Netaxept Merchant ID

When the Netaxept product agreement has been processed, we send a welcome email to the contact person. The welcome email contains the Netaxept Merchant ID.

The Merchant ID is used as a username for the contact person to login to the Netaxept admin account. The merchantID is also the identifier for the API integration (together with the API token).

    Netaxept admin portal password

The person defined as contact person in the Netaxept product agreement will receive the Netaxept admin account password as a text message on the mobile phone.

    API token

Finally, the contact person will receive the API token as a text message on the mobile phone. You need the API token for your technical API integration.

    4. Netaxept admin portal

The Netaxept Merchant ID (username) and the Netaxept admin account password must be used to login to the Netaxept admin account. The contact person can then add additional users to the Netaxept admin account. While they will receive their unique usernames and passwords, the Merchant ID remains to be the username for the contact person.

You can login to the Netaxept admin portal here.

    5. Test Credentials for test integration

If you want to test your integration, you need to get Netaxept Test Credentials (Netaxept Test Admin Portal Password and Netaxept Test API token). Please contact us if you haven’t received them yet.

With your test credentials, you can login to your Netaxept Test Admin Portal here.
