This guide outlines the basics of using MobilePay via Nets Easy and gives you instructions needed for a fluent implementation.
Nets Easy has an integration to MobilePay which enables your consumers to pay via their MobilePay payment app. This is done by entering their telephone number in the checkout.
Once the consumer has entered in their phone number, the consumer will be able to pay with only one-click in the checkout at a swipe in the MobilePay payment app.
MobilePay is a mobile payment app (digital wallet) that lets users pay for products and services by using the payee’s mobile phone number. It also allows them to send money to each other.
MobilePay supports Danish Krone as a currency. Users must be resident in Denmark. They also must have a Danish phone number, a Danish bank account and a Danish Personal Identification number (CPR number).
When your buyers select MobilePay as a payment method on the Nets Easy payment selection page, they need to enter their phone number.
They are then redirected to a MobilePay hosted confirmation page, where they confirm their purchase and get a notification on their mobile phone’s MobilePay app. Finally, they confirm their payment from within the app.
The users MobilePay funding source can be both, Dankort and Visa. When your customers use their Dankort card to pay in the MobilePay wallet, the transaction fee can be different than when they use MobilePay with a Visa card. Most of the time, it is cheaper with Dankort.
The amount is now authorized, and you can charge the funds anytime within a certain time frame after you ship the order. That helps to avoid refunds and chargebacks.
Payments with MobilePay will be processed with the chosen card connected to what the consumer has registered with their MobilePay account. You can check the authorization timeframes from this table here.

To ensure the correct update of the payment status from Nets Easy Checkout, you need to use the payment.checkout.completed webhook (see the Webhooks section). By using this webhook, you will receive a notification from Easy Checkout after the checkout process is completed.
As seen from the functionality table, recurring payments (subscriptions) are not supported by Nets Easy MobilePay payments.
Nets Easy MobilePay payments allow you to do partial refunds, separate captures and partial charges. If you haven’t yet captured the funds, you can also cancel payments.
Please find the exact events and descriptions in our API reference.
The amount for the payment will appear on your Nets Easy portal immediately.
Nets Easy currently does not provide the possibility to test for MobilePay as seen in this overview table.
When it is available, you will be able to see it in the Nets testing environment.
