Is the consumer information I pass on to Nets going to be stored on the Nets server?
Yes, Nets can store the data and use them to have the customer details prefilled for subsequent checkouts of the same customer.
In order to pass on customer data to Nets, the
MerchantHandlesConsumerData parameter needs to be set to true.
Please note, that the data can’t be stored if it isn’t complete. For B2C payments all fields (email, firstName, lastName, addressLine1, city, postalCode, countryCode, phonePrefix, phoneNumber) must have valid values. Only addressLine2, company object and reference can be omitted. For B2B payments, company and reference fields become required as well.
Please make sure you are not using any dummy data, since it is going to be used to prefill the relevant form on subsequent checkouts.
